Our Journey and Evolution

Aggregation center

From 2018 to 2020, Inua Damsite CBO successfully aggregated and traded 20 tonnes of fresh farm produce per week. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our operations, leading to a period of adaptation and transformation.

In 2021, we established an agro-processing center to enhance our capabilities and resilience. This center now handles 10 tonnes of produce per week, ensuring that fresh fruits and vegetables are processed efficiently to minimize waste. Alongside our processing operations, we have implemented a training program that empowers 10 women and youths per week with valuable skills in agro-processing.

Impact and Achievements

Youth and Women Empowerment

Since 2021, we have trained a total of 832 youths and women, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the agricultural sector

Sustainable Agriculture

We have traded and processed over 1,000 tones of fruits and vegetables, contributing significantly to reducing food waste and supporting local farmers.

Community Development

By creating job opportunities and fostering economic empowerment, we are helping to build stronger, more resilient communities in Nyandarua County.
